Camp GoNoodle...Are YOU ready?!

Now that we have settled into summer, there are some facts of life when it comes to summertime with the boys.
1. Nap time is fleeting.
2. Boys jump off of EVERYTHING!
3. Body parts and sounds are ALWAYS funny.
4. Sleeping in does not exist.

Since we are up with the sun, and awake alllllll day long (I'm really missing nap time if you haven't noticed!), we need to keep them busy! Cue Camp GoNoodle!

Camp GoNoodle starts Monday (June 29th)! Each week, the kiddos will be given a host of challenges to inspire their creativity and channel their energy! Gray is having a playdate on Wednesday with two of his best friends, and I can't wait for them to start the challenge! Want to sign up? Simply go to campgonoodle.com on Monday (June 29th) and let the fun begin!

Note: If you are a teacher who already has a teacher/school GoNoodle account, you will need to go to this link to sign up to receive Camp GoNoodle emails: http://gndle.me/1IdCN2F

We both use GoNoodle in our classrooms (Yes, high schoolers can and will join in on the GoNoodle fun!), so we teamed up for the link up of our GoNoodle Summer Loves!

If you are a blogger, be sure to link up and share your summer loves! (We hear there may be some #gonoodleswag for one lucky blogger!)

Dare to Dream

So without further ado, here are our dreams!

Raise the boys to be respectful, loving, and hard working: At ages 3 and 5, in the throes of summer and inconsistent schedules, it is easy to think that our boys are downright crazy! We try our best to teach them right from wrong, to love one another, and be respectful to everyone. I can only hope that our lessons and example stays with them when they are on their own.

Make an impact in education: Greg has been doing some amazing work at the high school level. This coming school year will be very exciting for him as his ideas are put into action in his district. His hope is to share the ideas and experiences with others looking to make a change for their students. He will be presenting with two of his teammates at the Mass Customized Learning Conference this summer, in hopes of inspiring others about customized learning in the high school setting.

Go to the Olympics: We LOVE the Olympics...especially the summer Olympics! We would love to take our boys to the summer Olympics when they are older!

Live at the Beach: This may not happen until we retire, but we would love to live at the beach!

Now that we have shared our dreams, what are yours? We'd love to hear from you!

TPT Seller Challenge: Makeover Madness

Hi everyone, I'm linking up with the fabulous ladies who have created the TPT Seller Challenge! This week's challenge was to makeover an old product. This was on my summer to do list, so I was happy that these gals gave me the push to get started!
Picture
I decided to makeover one of my first and best selling products. I have been putting it off because it was made in Word (uugh), so I switched it all into Keynote and made some updates.
Picture
First off, the cover needed some MAJOR attention! Greg enjoys creating covers and graphics, so he helped me out with this one, and even photoshopped my example into the cover! HA! The cover wasn't all that I changed, I also gave the recording sheets an update, and added a note to teachers giving them some ideas of how they could implement the activity.

I also added word cards to this product. There are eight word cards for each bossy r, as well as a few blank cards. With the word card addition, this product could be used not just as a craftivity, but also as a write the room activity, or a small group activity, which I know my kids will just love! Here are some examples of the Bossy R SupER Heroes that my kids have made. This one is always a winner in my classroom!

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below, and I will randomly pick a few winners and send them this product! (Leave your email in the comment!) To celebrate this new makeover, this product is on sale in our TPT store! Want to join in? Be sure to check out the lovely ladies hosting the TPT Seller Challenge!
